July 17, 2025 - PNC Update #10

Dear Christ Pres Family,

We are grateful for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support as our Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) continues the work of discerning who God is calling to serve as our next Lead Pastor.

Over the past month, we’ve reviewed several new applications and conducted one additional interview. While we were encouraged by many of the candidates' faith and ministry experiences, we did not find any that we felt were a strong fit.

With that said, we’re excited to share that we are continuing to move forward with one candidate who PNC members unanimously found to be humble, thoughtful and seems aligned with the direction God is leading Christ Presbyterian Church.  We are working on arranging an in-person visit.  This visit will be an important opportunity for mutual discernment as we continue this journey together.

Please continue to keep our committee—and this candidate - in your prayers as we take these next steps. We remain deeply encouraged by your support and by the sense of unity and purpose we’ve experienced throughout this process. As always, we will keep you informed as things continue to unfold.
