June 18, 2025 - PNC Update #9

Dear Christ Pres Family,

Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement as we seek God's leading in identifying the next pastoral leadership for our church. We remain deeply grateful for your support and trust in this process.

Since our last update, the PNC has continued reviewing new applications and conducting interviews. We’ve had some meaningful conversations with candidates and are prayerfully discerning whether any may be a good fit for the unique culture and needs of our church.

At this time, we have not yet felt God’s clear leading to extend a call to a single candidate. While we continue our search, we are also exploring whether God might be inviting us to consider a different model of ministry—perhaps one that involves a team rather than a single full-time lead pastor. This is still very much in the prayerful exploration phase, but we want to be open to wherever the Spirit may lead.

Please continue to pray for our committee as we listen for God’s voice. Pray for wisdom, unity, and discernment—not only for us, but for the candidates we’re engaging with, and for our whole church family as we look to the future with hope.
