September 22, 2024

Dear Christ Pres Family,

The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) held its first meeting on Sunday, September 15. We spent valuable time getting to know one another, reviewing the PNC process, discussing our timeline, and praying for guidance. There was a shared desire to move forward as efficiently as possible, even if it means meeting more frequently.

Our goal is to have the Church Profile and Job Description finalized and submitted for review by the Presbytery Ministry Partnership Team (MPT) at their October meeting. For those who might be unaware, the MPT plays a vital role in overseeing pastoral relationships within the Presbytery, and Judy Roberts from that team attended our Sunday meeting.  We are aiming for their approval in October so we can begin the search process.

The PNC will meet again this coming Sunday afternoon. Please continue to keep us in your prayers—that we may listen well, seek God's direction, and maintain unity of spirit as we move forward. Once the MPT approves our documents, we’ll begin sharing the job posting across the ECO network and other platforms.
