You Are Welcome Here
Our Sunday worship begins at 10:45 a.m. We gather each week to encounter the triune God and celebrate the gospel. We sing, pray, and open up Scripture together to learn and relearn what God is doing to heal and rescue the world through Jesus, by the power of his Spirit. Maybe you've been a Christian for years and are familiar with the church. Maybe you have all kinds of doubts and questions about Christianity, and you struggle with what it means to follow Jesus. Maybe both! Wherever you are in your faith journey, you are welcome with us.
In addition to visiting on a Sunday, another great way to connect with us is to check out a Community Group.
Our building is located at 2508 Dickens Road, which is easily accessible to the Metro Richmond area, off Interstate 64.
We love kids and welcome them in our service. We also offer care for three different age groups of children during the service: Nursery (ages 0-2), Preschool (ages 3-6, preferably toilet trained), and Children’s Church (ages 7-11). Children can meet our volunteers at the entrance to the sanctuary, when they are dismissed during the service. We encourage first-time visiting parents to go with their children to their rooms to meet our volunteers. Nursery and Preschool age children will be returned to the sanctuary at 12:15 p.m.
If you are planning a first-time visit with children and want us to help care for them, you might go ahead and print out this form, complete it, and bring it with you on Sunday (or submit the same form online, here). You can also review our Child Safety Policy.
What to Expect
Our service opens with a call to worship, followed by singing, interspersed with times for prayer and responding to God. During this time, please feel free to sit, stand, kneel, raise your hands, clap or dance, whatever you are most comfortable doing! We always read Scripture together and hear the good news about Jesus. And we expect and welcome the gifts of the Holy Spirit among us. There is also a time for giving financially during the service, which we see as part of our worship. If you're visiting with us, please don't feel obligated to give!
