TESTIMONIAL
As I walked out of church on Sunday evening, I picked up Ev’s book, Humility: The Quiet Virtue. I came home and opened the book while I ate dinner, and long after dinner was over I was still reading. I didn’t stop until I read the whole thing. I was intrigued with the masterful way in which throughout the book Ev highlighted the quiet nature of humility that shouted at him through the life of his mother-in-law (which honestly sounded a lot like he was describing the servanthood of Kirby). Ev reminds us that humility is not something to be grasped or achieved, but received! This powerful, little book has me pondering how I can move deeper into this Christ-like characteristic of humility. I would encourage you to read it too!
