Again, thanks - for all who gave your time to toil in the hot sun during our two work days. In case you weren't able to make it, there are still a few items that could use some attention, so feel free to talk to Stephen Ward if you have some spare time during the week and would like to lend a hand.
Helping Doug and Carla - St. Giles is organizing a work day this coming Saturday, June 18, to clean up around The Clearing, the prayer and retreat center run by the McMurrys (in Charles City). Since lunch is provided, if you are interested in helping out please RSVP to John Harler, (804) 347-3674. We meet at St. Giles at 9AM and expect to return around 2PM.
A Room for Robert - Robert Carrington is on his 12 week summer break from the Prayer Furnace, and it would be helpful if different Christ Pres families would let him stay with you for some of this time. He is willing to work for rent and also is looking for additional work. Contact him at (804) 309-2418 or call Lynne Carter.
An Evening with SonChasers - Sunday, June 26, we will host a performance by SonChaser Ministries, to help support the Silent Gestures mission trip to Niger (including Kiera Wibberly). The potluck dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. We'll get to learn more about the trip, and a love offering will be taken for the team.
