Paul and Deborah Freeman are going to Brazil this summer and will be joining with a ministry called Exodus Cry, which works with human trafficking victims. This same ministry also produced the award winning documentary, Nefarious: Merchant of Souls. To raise awareness about the issue, and to encourage support for the trip, the Freemans will be showing the film at the church on Saturday, April 5, 6:00 PM. Admission is free, and there will be a love offering to help fund the mission trip this June. The Freemans need to raise $4200 to cover airline tickets, hosting and food.
The film goes into great detail about sex trafficking and the toll it has taken on our society and around the world. Because the film includes disturbing and somewhat graphic content, viewer discretion is advised. Parents, you will need to decide if you want your teenager to see this. You can find a synopsis of the film, here.
The film can only be shown to 30 people at a time, so first come, first serve. Once 30 people have RSVP'd, Deborah will close the event. There will be another showing if more than 30 people sign up. To RSVP, please email Deborah.
Please also remember the Freemans in prayer as they prepare for this trip!
